In the latest edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters, the popular EA golf video game series includes "Move" compatibility, where gamers can use a motion-sensing controller to golf like a pro...or not.
This obviously isn't the greatest time to be touting that you can "move" like Tiger Woods, given his "addiction" to various mistresses and the fact that he is out of the game with two injuries to his left leg.
Instead of golfing, maybe the game should be one of those workout games where you can learn how to rehabilitate injuries and your public image.
You could learn how to walk in a boot, "punch out" your critics, throw clubs into the underbrush, and hack from sandpits.
Woods, of course, has fallen on hard times since he crashed his SUV into a tree in late 2009. Besides his ugly divorce with Elin Nordegren, his golf game has suffered.
Right when it appeared his golf game was coming back around in the Masters, he injured himself at the Players Championship and there's no telling now if he'll ever come back.
The question now is, what does EA Sports do now?
Every time they release the next installment of Tiger Woods: PGA Tour, it has the chance of being blasted/ridiculed.
When does Woods' public image start wearing off on the company's image?
Well, it hasn't yet. The video game still is soaring in popularity with no indications of slowing. Tiger Woods, at least in virtual reality, is still a popular figure.
But you have to wonder: how popular would a game be where you're Tiger Woods in his personal life?
Then again, that wouldn't exactly be kid-friendly.
Or educational.
